Abstract Acrylic Florals Workshop

Level: Beginner through experienced. Everyone is welcome. It’s all about experimenting, having fun, and embracing the creative process. Let’s come together, get creative, and explore the beauty of abstract florals in a fun, relaxed setting. At the beginning of the workshop I will go over color theory so that you have guidance if you want to choose your own colors. These paintings will make great Mothers Day gifts.

Instructor: Lynne Adams. I’m a traditional and digital artist based in Louisville. My art practice blends realism and abstraction through paintings and drawings in oil, watercolor, pastel, acrylic, ink, charcoal, graphite, and digital media. I also design illustrations and seamless surface pattern designs for fabric, wallpaper, stationery, tech accessories, and home décor. I particularly enjoy working in medium to small-scale.

Materials: All materials are supplied with your workshop cost. We will be painting on a 12x12 canvas.

Inspiration: I will be guiding you, but also feel free to bring a picture of your own simple floral bouquet.
